Well, I think it's about time I say hello to the DA community. I've uploaded quite a few pictures and poems, yet I haven't even done a journal, or even made an avvy pic. x3 I really need to sort out my priorities.

Meanwhile... I've been working on a small group (about three so far) of characters. Drawing them, making their personalities, stories, the such. I'm not sure if I'll ever put them on here or not, considering I don't have much about them.

While on the subject of characters...design...the such... I always seem to wonder how people come up with such magnificent and amazing characters. Or how they even manage to get it onto paper, computer, whatever artists might use out there. I often have a hard time coming up with ideas, and when I do get them, they don't often end up how I want them to. Most of the time they stay in my head or in text form. I often have a hard time drawing what I have in my mind. Anyone got any tips for coming up with characters, or ideas in general? And any tips for putting them onto paper?

That brings up another subject... Computer media. For my entire life I've used almost exclusively pencil and paper... Yet I find a desire to attempt computer editing/creating art (most likely caused by my recent class of Computer Animation). But my computer is terrible... Had it for about 6 years, I think. And the programs are so expensive, flash and photoshop, I mean. I know how to use flash pretty well, not so much on photoshop... But anything else I have no idea how to use. Any chance for some help with that?

Anothing thing... I feel like I don't get much attention with my artwork. Aka, I feel like I don't get much of it seen by people. I don't want to go out and say "Hey, look at my artwork, NOW!" or anything, but I at least want me to get recognized in some way... Anything that might draw even the slightest attention to my stuff.
